San Diego, Ca. – January 4, 2021 – BIOTONE Professional Massage and Spa products and BIOTONE EDU-Partner program today announced its lineup of EDU-TALK speakers for the first quarter of 2021. The first session will be held Tuesday, January 12 and feature Nathan Nordstrom, the founding director of Educated Touch (www.educatedtouch.com), speaking on “Take Challenges with Confidence.”
Launched in July 2020, the EDU-TALK Series, hosted by BIOTONE EDU-Partner program and massage industry experts, supports virtual learning by connecting schools, students and LMT’s with experts who share their knowledge in free, quick 30-minute ZOOM meetings. Participants join in on alternating Tuesday’s to listen and learn about a variety of topics for class discussion and career success.
“With the challenges of Covid-19, adjusting to the new norm of virtual learning, cancelled industry events and a wealth of massage industry talent willing to share information, and strengthen a sense of massage community, the EDU-TALK Series was simply right for the times and a bright spot for all,” stated Donnell Curley, creator of the EDU-TALK concept.
In his EDU-TALK on January 12, Nordstrom will focus on how we face new challenges every day, providing advice on how to be confident in making the right decisions and how to keep from making the same mistakes twice. He will go through the steps for success both personally and professionally to avoid doubt, fear, and regret.
In addition to his work with Educated Touch, Nordstrom provides training for massage therapists and has served on various massage organizations boards, including the Massage Therapy Foundation and the American Massage Therapy Association. He has been a licensed massage therapist since 2001 and currently is the National Director of Massage Therapy Training for Hand & Stone Franchise Company.
